The space is a specific topic but still favourite among seniors. This study text depicts a current event that happened in the laboratory of the ISS. Let’s read more about it.

At the beginning of September 2018:
NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and the Russian space agency have to repair2 a hole in the laboratory of the ISS (International Space Station). The air is slowly leaving3. The people on board block the hole with glue4 and repair the problem. Astronauts and other experts think that the hole in the space station is there because of a small stone5.

At the end of September 2018:
Reports are now saying that a person created the hole. ‘It looks like a shaking7 hand. There are traces8 of a drill9,’ says Dmitry Rogozin, Director of the Russian space agency. Rogozin thinks that it is an accident10 or somebody’s mistake. Astronauts and experts on the ground are trying to find the hole. They are successful. The pressure is now all right and the astronauts on board can continue working.
The International Space Station is in space since 1998. It is 73 metres long, 109 metres wide and 20 metres high. There are 6 people in it.
