Rodilí mluvčí v kurzech

Díky spolupráci s organizací ISA (International Study Abroad) navštěvují můj kurz také rodilí mluvčí z USA. Jsou to vysokoškolští studenti, kteří studují několik měsíců na Karlově Univerzitě v Praze Vysokou školu ekonomickou za účelem získání nových znalostí a zkušeností v rámci vysokoškolského vzdělávání v Evropě. Organizace ISA pro ně připravuje kulturní akce, výlety a v neposlední řadě i dobrovolnické aktivity, při nichž by svůj volný čas smysluplně využili. Jednou z nich je právě aktivní využití anglického jazyka seniorů s rodilými mluvčími a vzájemné kulturní obohacení.

Devlen Bridges
I’m from Irmo, South Carolina, United States. I grew up playing American Football at my high school and I enjoy playing sports, fishing, boating, camping, skiing and enjoying the outdoors. I go to The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina and study Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship.

James Carroll
My name is James Carroll. I am currently studying abroad at the University of Economics in Prague. I am originally from Geneva, a western suburb of Chicago. I attend Indiana State University for my studies in America. I am double majoring in marketing, and operations and supply chain management. I am a very adventurous person that loves to see new places and do new things. I am very active and enjoy practically all sports. One of my favorite things to do when I have off time is eating. I am a food fanatic. Visiting new restaurants is more of a thrill than anything in this world. Music is a large part of my life, having gone to more concerts than I can count, live music is something that is truly life changing in my mind. I am always down for a random adventure and a good laugh with close friends. Thinking big is what I am best at and what I plan on making my living by. My personal motto is “slow and steady wins the race.”

Rachel Hacker
I am originally from the state of Arkansas in the United States, but now I attend school and live in Denver, Colorado. I like to read, watch movies, hike (not to exercise, but for the beautiful views in the end), and eat lots of food! I also love learning about the history and culture of different places.
