Vepřová pečeně - recept od studentky
My favourite recipe for Roast Pork.
Time: 2 hours
Serves: 4 people
Ingredients:
750 grams of pork shoulder
4 pieces of garlic
salt
300 grams of onion
caraway seeds
water as needed
Directions:
Turn on the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Wash the meat. Cut onions roughly.
Crush the garlic with salt.
Grind caraway seeds in the mortar and mix them with the garlic and salt.
Rub the outside of the pork with the mixture.
Put the onions in the pan. Put the pork (skin down) on the onions in a pan roughly.
Pour the water in the pan. Put the pan in the oven.
When cooking the pork, cover it with the pork juice or water.
When cooking the pork we turn.(Myslím, že se mi povedlo úsměvné spojení -pohyb je zdravý!)
When cooking the pork keep turning. Cut the skin into cubes and pieces with fork.
Cook the pork for about 2 hours (not pink inside). Take the roast out of the pan. Put it on a big plate. Cut the roast pork into slices. Serve roast pork with mashed potatoes and the pan juice and cucumber.
