In cooperation with a New Yorker, Stuart Carapola, I shared with my students the text and video shot about FROZEN that is popular among American children nowadays and can be an inspiration for grandparents and their grandchildren here.
FROZEN is an American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale The Snow Queen. It’s lovely created and warms adults and children hearts.
I prepared the text for my students that we read together, translated and described the picture with a question „Who is Elsa in the picture?“ Then I was curious how many students know this film. One of the students who has blonde hair was supposedly called „Elsa“ by her granddaughter who studies English. It made us laugh in the class.
Besides I prepared a video shot on youtube „Love is an open door“ that includes a beautiful song.
You can click on it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtCXUFImZYE.
Students‘ homework was to listen to the song and let me know what it was about. Obviously I will have the words of the song prepared for my students. So they don’t have to worry if they don’t understand fully.
Enjoy and have fun with FROZEN!
