Queen Elizabeth II wants to sell her villa in Malta, situated in Malta´s capital Valletta. The villa is for sale for 6 million euros (± 155 million Czech crowns). The Queen lived in Malta with her husband Prince Philip between the years 1949 and 1951.

Between the years 1949 and 1951: Queen Elizabeth II is newly³ married to Prince Philip, who works in Malta.He is a naval officer.She enjoys her life on the beautiful island very much.

„Malta is very special for me.I still remember⁴ my happy days here with Prince Phillip,“ says the Queen.

Valletta is a beautiful city.It is made of stone and it is nice and historical⁵.It is good to go to Malta in September or October, because it is not so hot.

In Valletta, you can see for example the beautiful St John’s Cathedral⁶ .

Everybody speaks English in Malta.It is an official language.There are a lot of English language courses⁷ in Valletta, even for beginners.It is also a good place for elderly people.
