Bali

Anička and Laďka prepared a lovely talk and photos. My students also received a short text about Bali that you can read bellow. They read it and translated it as the beginners and did a great job!

Bali is an island of Indonesia. Bali is a popular tourist destination. It has arts, traditional and modern dance, sculpture, painting, leather and music. Here people speak 2 or 3 languages – Balinese, Indonesian and English.
But English is distinctive (different) with its own dictionary.

People in Bali are friendly and nice. The island is beautiful and cheap for tourists. It offers great beaches, lovely waves for surfing, amazing sunsets, and wonderful nature. The food is full of vegetables, meat, spices and fish. Bali has a strong rice agriculture tradition in Indonesia.

Rice is in every meal. You can buy it also outside wrapped in a banana leaf.
