This is an invitation to Prague cinema and see a new film „King of Thieves“. The plot is about retired gentlemen who broke into a jewelery shop in London. It’s based on a true story.

In November 2018, you can see a new British crime film King of Thieves in Prague cinemas with Sir Michael Caine.The story is based on a real burglary1 from Hatton Garden during the Easter2 weekend in 2015.The criminals are elderly3 men and it is the biggest burglary in English history.
2 April 2015: security cameras show Collins and others in a white van4 at Hatton Garden.They arrive at 8.20 p.m.Later, another man called Basil helps them go inside through a fire exit.Basil opens the door.He uses codes5 and a special key.He is a technical expert.He probably stops the alarm and the electrics6.Five elderly men make a hole in a concrete wall and steal 73 security boxes in a rich area of London without a trace 7.
The five burglars8 are: John Collins, 77, Daniel Jones, 63, Brian Reader, 78 and Ter-ry Perkins, 69 years old.They’re all in prison9 now.
