FAMOUS JAZZMAN IN PRAGUE

Legendary jazz pianist, composer and musician, multiple Grammy Award and Oscar recipient Herbie Hancock is coming to Prague. The genius pianist will take the stage on November 9th, 2019 at Prague’s O2 Universum.

Herbie Hancock (*April 12, 1940) is a famous American jazz pianist from Chicago.

In 1951, when he is only 11 years old, he plays a Mozart’s piano concerto¹ with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.He is a child genius.

As an adult, Herbie becomes² a legendary³ jazz pianist and composer⁴.He also wins an Oscar for his music for the film Round Midnight, and he has got fourteen Grammy Awards.

Herbie is also Professor of Poetry⁵ at Harvard University, as well as a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Herbie Hancock is visiting Prague now.This Saturday, on the 9th of November, he has a concert at O2 Universum in Prague, the new modern sports and cultural centre.
