Graffiti - Move over, Banksy
Článek byl vydán 16. října 2017
The article is about Graffiti that is popular among seniors in Lisbon. One of my great students, Jitka, visited Lisbon and showed us the lovely photos of graffiti of big sizes in the class, likewise. Read more about this program just here!

Move over, Banksy.
There’s some unusual urban art all over Lisbon today, and you won’t believe who’s doing it.
A Portuguese initiative to help bring the generations together is LATA 65.It is an urban art program for older people.LATA 65 helps seniors not only understand street art but also to change the stereotypes of young and old.
So the program has encouraged seniors to get involved in making art while also helping them understand the meaning behind the graffiti they see in their city.Over 100 seniors participate, ages 63 to 94, and the workshops will continue.
One senior said, „The spray can has something magical.“ Everyone likes to experiment and the 50-plus generation does, too.Senior street art in Lisbon means you’re never too old to learn something new.
