J.R.R. Tolkien is a famous English writer and professor at Oxford University. Tolkien’s most famous books are The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, which is a great adventure of Frodo, a hobbit from fantasy world Middle-earth. In 2019 there is also a new film called Tolkien about the writer’s life.

John Ronald Reuel Tolkien (1892-1973) is a famous¹ English writer.He is also a professor at Oxford University.

Tolkien’s hobby is writing.He likes fantasy stories.He even creates new languages and a world, which is full of heroes² and incredible adventures.He calls the world Middle-earth.

His first popular book is The Hobbit.It’s about a small man called Bilbo.He doesn’t like adventures, because he likes eating, drinking and his small house.But in the end, he has to leave his home, and he even³ fights a dragon.

After The Hobbit, Tolkien writes The Lord of the Rings, a longer epic⁴ story about great adventures, battles⁵, friendships (pl.)⁶ and love.Frodo, Bilbo’s nephew⁷, tries to destroy an evil⁸ ring in the story.

The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings are the most selling novels in the world.

There is also a new film called Tolkien.It is from the year of 2019, and it is about Tolkien’s life.But Tolkien’s grandchildren don’t like the film, because there are a lot of untrue events in it.
