Laugh!
Článek byl vydán 12. května 2017
Laughter is a strong medicine and for elderly people it makes double true. I shared an interesting article about „LAUGH!“ with other seniors. Let’s have a look what laughing can help, what is the World Laughter Day about and who arranged it.

YOUR WAY TO GOOD HEALTH: LAUGH!.
Less stress, less pain
When we laugh, our bodies release endorphins. They also make pain hurt less.Laughing also relaxes our muscles which can help us recover from a bad mood or a tense feeling.Laughter is the best medicine!
Good immune system
When we laugh, our bodies make more cells to fight infection and disease.Scientists at Loma Linda University in California, USA, ran a study in which they showed adults a funny video. After watching the video, the blood was tested. All of them showed improved immune system.
Good exercise!
Laughing hard can burn up to 40 calories. It also reduces blood pressure. If you’re not sure you laugh enough, try laughter yoga.People get together to laugh in groups. There is the World Laughter Day („Mezinárodní den smíchu“).It’s held on the first Sunday of May every year. The first celebration was in Mumbai, India, in 1998 and was arranged by Dr.Madan Kataria, founder of the worldwide Laughter Yoga.
Saying: He who laughs last, laughs longest..
