ROWAN ATKINSON: NOT ONLY MR.BEAN

Rowan Atkinson (*January 6 1955) is an English Comedian¹.He’s famous for his work on Mr.Bean.

Atkinson’s first work is a BBC comedy show Not the Nine O’clock News (1979–1982).He has a BAFTA award² for this show.

Blackadder is a TV series³ of four historical British comedies also from the BBC.It comes from the 1980s.Rowan Atkinson plays the anti-hero⁴ Edmund Blackadder in them.Another actor, Tony Robinson, is his servant⁵ called Baldrick.

Mr.Bean is Atkinson’s idea.He creates it during his studies⁶ at Oxford University.The main character⁷ Mr.Bean is like „a child in an adult body,“ says Atkinson.

Rowan Atkinson has a small stammer⁸ problem and doesn’t think he is a „proper actor„.
He has two children, Ben and Lily, with his English Indian ex-wife⁹ Sunestra Sas-try.She is a make-up artist.
