Animals, mysteries and further curiosities from English speaking countries also catch my seniors‘ eyes. Let’s have a look and read more about the Loch Ness Monster. The historical background is a must for my elderly.

SCIENTISTS LOOK FOR LOCH1 NESS MONSTER.
The legend of the Loch Ness monster is really very old – but now Professor Neil Gemmell from New Zealand has a team to look for DNA in Loch Ness. They are trying to find secrets in the dark water of the Scottish lake.
With DNA from the water of the lake, they know what types of animals live there.Gemmell doesn’t think that the Loch Ness monster exists, but he hopes the lake can be full of interesting surprises. He thinks there is perhaps a biological explanation.
Scientists take the DNA from the skin2 and scales3 of the animals that live in the water. There is a lot of new information from the organisms that are in Loch Ness, which is the largest lake with fresh water in the UK.
The legend of the Loch Ness monster, called “Nessie”, is very old in Scottish folklore, over4 15 centuries.
They say that Nessie has a long neck and humps5.More than 1,000 people say this.
