Summer has gone.Temperatures are dropping.Heating season is here.

Last year Czech households paid from 5,000 to 7,000 CZK more for heating than in previous years.You can save a similar amount, however, when you find the right company.For example, a household of three can save 5,000 CZK a year by changing its gas supplier.By changing the electricity supplier, the savings can be 2,000 CZK per year.

Here is one problem.„Moving to another energy supplier usually takes about three months,“ says Marketa Witosz, an energy specialist.She studies the market in the Czech Republic.And here is another problem.There are more than 60 energy suppliers in the country, so it is not easy to find the company with the best prices.

Here is timely advice.Start early to study the market.Change for better prices.Now might be too late to save on heating this winter.
